The PCA Group has successfully installed the Vertical Communications Wave IP 2500 communications platform for Pfannenberg, allowing them to expand their operations, communicate more efficiently and tightly integrate phone communications with their software applications.

The PCA Group hires Dan Laughlin as a Software Engineer, within our ERP/account software solutions group. He previous worked at LPS: Agency Sales and Posting. Dan is a graduate of Canisius High School and Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He currently resides in Buffalo with his family.

The PCA Group hires John Norris as a Network Engineer. John has eight years of IT experience and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). He previously worked at Terrapih Systems in Rockville, Maryland as a Network Consultant/Service Engineer. John and his family currently reside in Kenmore.

The PCA Group hires Steven Borkman as a Software Engineer. Steven is an expert in C, C++, and Visual Basic .NET programming, and has also worked with other languages throughout his career. He started Borkman Technologies in January 2005, after graduating from UB with a BA in Mathematics and a BS/MS in Computer Science. In addition, Steven attended UB’s Gifted Math Program for children from seventh to twelve grade. He grew up in Clarence and currently resides in East Amherst.

The PCA Group has opened an office at Innovation Center at 640 Ellicott Street, the newest building on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC). The Innovation Center offers turn-key office suites and build-to-suit offices, wet lab and research space for growing life sciences and biotech companies in a collaborative setting, as well as organizations offering related services. In addition to the new office, The PCA Group has partnered with BNMC, Inc. to offer telephony and network services to their tenants.
